History: Traditionally used by women to kneel on, when next to the king.
Origin: The Kuba Kingdom, also known as the Kingdom of the Bakuba, or Bushongo, is a traditional kingdom in Central Africa. The Kuba Kingdom flourished between the 17th and 19th centuries in the region bordered by the Sankuru, Lulua, and Kasai rivers in the heart of the modern-day Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Material: 100% hand-made, raffia

Antique - Pieces that date back to the early 20th century, or older, therefor extremely rare and precious. All idiosyncrasies, including wear, mending, stains, and tears are part of the story of the fabric and overall art piece.
