History: Cinchero weavers say that the process of weaving is a reflection of the weaver's daily life. Each is a manifestation of the unique experiences of her life, of her family, and her community. This piece shows symbols of a Viscacha (a local rodent, similar to a chinchilla), ducks, and other local animals. Maybe these were the weaver' favorite animals?
